On assignment for 89.3 The Current.

In February 2021, I visited half a dozen Twin Cities music venues. The world of live entertainment had been in a kind of suspended animation for nearly a year. With COVID vaccines just a few weeks away, I was asked to document these hallowed spaces using a fine-art approach – to capture them in this unique and precarious moment.

One frame was “Selected” as part of the American Photography 38 juried contest.
